PURPOSE:To permit the removal of rust on the outside and inside surfaces of a steel pipe by using steel cables planted onto an inseertion rod and a wire brush and an air chisel installed onto an outside supporting board, by revolving the steel pipe at the number of revolution corresponding to the diameter and feeding the insertion rod into the steel pipe at a prescribed speed. CONSTITUTION:A steel pipe 32 is loaded ont a supporting roller 4, and one edge is fixed onto a pipe chuck 3, and a steel pipe 27 is revolved by a power apparatus 2 whose revolution speed can be adjusted by the diameter of the steel pipe 32. Then, a power apparatus (e.g., hydraulic motor) 7 which can adjust the speed of a driving apparatus is operated, and a flat car 5 is moved in reciprocation on a basic board 1, and a guiding rod 23 is drawn and an insertion rod 2 is inserted into the steel pipe 32 in revolution. In this case, a wire brush 15 and an air chisel 16 on a supporting board 9 bridged in arch form onto the flat car 5 beat for polishing the outer surface of the steel pipe 32, and the inside surface of the steel pipe 32 is polished by the steel cable 31 in a short pipe 28 installed at the top edge of the insertion rod 27, and the rust, scale, concrete blocks adhering onto the inside and outside surfaces of the steel pipe 32 are stripped-off and polished. |
