PURPOSE:To insert electronic components in connected series of taping electronic components assuredly and continuously on a circuit substrate by a method wherein series of taping electronic components are positioned accurately using a non-stretchable connecting tape and a connecting tool, and they are connected under a condition in which a specified perforation pitch is assuredly maintained. CONSTITUTION:Series of taping electronic components l, 2 to be connected and a connecting tool 21 are prepared. The connecting tool 21 is made of a rigid material, and has a plate 21a with a flat plate shape and a plurality of protuberances 21b which stand on the upper surface of the plate 21a. The plurality of protuberances 21b have an outer diameter which is equal to the diameter of perforations 5, 6 of the series of taping electronic components 1, 2, and are arranged by the same pitch as the perforations 5, 6. The series of taping electronic components 1, 2 are placed in such a manner that end parts 1a, 2a are butted to each other, and the protuberances 21b are inserted in the perforations 5, 6, 11 of the series of taping electronic components 1, 2. Then, a connecting tape 22 is brought close to the series of taping electronic components 1, 2 from the top, and put on the upper surface side of the series of taping electronic components 1, 2. Then, the connecting tool 21 is removed from the perforations 5, 6, 11 and holes 22a to complete the connection. |
