<p>An integral type cone mirror for observing at a glance the entire periphery of a wall of a boring hole at a desirable depth, provided in a sonde moving vertically within the boring hole formed in the ground, a composite mirror for locally, detailedly observing the wall of the hole, and a vertically moving sonde provided with the above-described mirrors. An integral type cone mirror in which a transparent truncated cone block, the surface of which is polish-finished, is coupled into a recess or a through-hole complementary in form to the above-described truncated cone block and formed coaxially with a transparent cylinder block, the surface of which is polish-finished, said coupled surfaces of the integral type cone mirror being a mirror finished. Furthermore, the composite mirror has an obliquely upwardly directed plane mirror inclined axially at 45 DEG mounted on the top surface of the truncated cone block or the cylinder block of the above-described integral type cone mirror. <IMAGE></p> |
