<p>PURPOSE: To make a locking lever which is used for operating the crescent lock of a single swinging window exchangeable with another lever so that the locking lever matching the finished interior color of a room may be used. CONSTITUTION: The inner end of a locking lever 22 is formed in a U-shaped fork-like shape, put on a locking cam 20 pivotally supported by the side column of a window frame through the internal surface-side recessed hole of the side column, and fixed with a click-stop type cooperative locking system. Similarly to an ordinary locking system, the locking cam is engaged with a window-side latch 16 by rotating the cam by means of the locking lever. When the clip stop is released by using a tool, such as the screw driver, etc., the locking lever can be removed to the indoor side and a new locking lever can be fitted. Therefore, the locking lever can be replaced easily with the new lever.</p> |
