A sign pad terminal device and a method for requesting an electronic signature by using the same are provided to prevent an error occurring in a card payment service, and increase convenience of a user and a casher by automatically informing the card user of electronic payment timing with sound/image when an approval is received from a card company server through the network. A memory(140) stores the sound/image. An output part(150) outputs the sound/image stored in the memory by a controller(120) if the approval is received from the card company server according to a payment request of the user or payment is completed after the electronic signature is inputted. The sound/image is inputted by the user. The sound is voice, mechanical sound, and other sounds, and the image is a photo, a drawing, and a moving image. The output part is installed to a sign pad, an electronic signature-typed card payment terminal device or a POS(Point Of Sale) system. The output part includes a speaker, a monitor, and a sign pad. |
