PURPOSE:To more accuratelly estimate the real cause of a fault even when plural causes of the fault are present thereon by calculateing the frequency of the fault phenomenon occurrences appeared according to the amount of deterioration and using the frequency to decide the cause of the fault every time. CONSTITUTION:This system is provided with a long term simulation part 12, a short term simulation part 13, a fault diagnostic part 14, an object model memory part 15, a fault simulation part 16, etc. Then, the frequency of the fault phenomenon occurrences appeared according to the amount of deterioration in the image forming device is calculated by using the reference value of the fault phenomenon occurrences. Also, the cause is identified by the calculated frequency of the fault phenomenon occurrences appeared in the device. |
