<p>PURPOSE:To conveniently and efficiently denitrate an NOx-contg. gas added with aq. ammonia by providing a treating vessel through which the gas is passed and arranging a zeolite with the layer of an azide compd. formed on its surface in the vessel. CONSTITUTION:A part for adding aq. ammonia to an NOx-contg. gas and a treating vessel 1 through which the NOx-contg. gas added with aq. ammonia is passed are provided, and a zeolite 7 with the layer of an azide compd. formed on its surface is arranged in the vessel 1 to constitute the denitrator. In this case, a special synthetic zeolite is not used, sodium azide is deposited on the zeolite 7, and NOx are removed with the zeolite 7. Since a sodium azide crystal is deposited on the zeolite 7 surface, a uniform crystal layer is easily formed on the zeolite 7 without using an adhesive.</p> |
