PURPOSE:To reduce drastically an exchange period of time and labor for a fresh mold by reducing a production cost of a mold, by a method wherein a male and female molds each are constituted of a common mold and a plurality of replacement molds which are different in form and/or dimensions respectively from each other and possess exchangeability. CONSTITUTION:A male mold is provided with a common base mold 50 which does not necessitate changes in form and dimensions and replacement molds 5a, 5d which are different in form and/or dimensions from each other and possess exchangeability to manufacture a plurality of kinds of molded products whose form and/or dimensions are different from one another. The base mold 50 for the male mold and the replacement molds 5a, 5b are confronted respectively on each other, one side of mating surfaces of both is provided with a fitting projected part 51 and the other mating surface is provided with a fitting recessed part 52 and both are fitted replaceably each other. It is sufficient that a connecting device for prevention of mold release is provided on only a female die and the same is not necessary for the male mold as foaming pressure is applied to the male mold in the direction clamping the molds. Molded products whose forms and/or dimensions are different from each other can be manufactured by rearranging the replacement molds 5a, 5b arbitrarily to the base mold 50 for the male mold. |
