<p>PURPOSE:To increase the recovery ratio of pulp from old papers such as waste document papers by swelling waste documents in water, treating to lower leakage danger of secret in the case of treatment by dry method, further reducing the bulk of papers after waste treatment, and readily subjecting the waste document papers to a waste treatment in water by wet method. CONSTITUTION:In a document treating device of carrying out a waste treatment of documents by wet method, the document treating device consists of a rotary conveyor part partially arranged in a water tank and a housing part of treated papers, positioned at the upper part of the rotary conveyor part and communicated with the rotary conveyer part, where only water in the treated waste papers containing water sent from the water tank through the rotary conveyer by the housing paper of treated papers is discharged in the water tank.</p> |
