PURPOSE:To provide a recording sheet for ink jet with excellent ink absorption and significant water-proofing properties. CONSTITUTION:A recording sheet for ink jet which is highly water-proof consists of a composition 100 pts.wt. of PVA (A) having at least, one type of functional group selected from among a primary amino group, a primary ammonium salt group, a secondary amino group and a secondary ammonium salt group in a molecule and 1 to 50 pts.wt. of a water-proofing agent (B) contained in a support base or in the surface of the support base. |
