PURPOSE:To provide a purifying means for effectively producing a large amount of purified protein having high purity by concentrating and capturing a protein fraction in the supernatant of an animal cell culture liquid in one step at a stroke. CONSTITUTION:Extremely small amount of protein accumulated in the supernatant of an animal cell culture liquid can efficiently be collected in purified state by adsorbing the protein to a hydrophobic carrier in the presence of an inorganic salt and decreasing the salt concentration to effect the separation of the protein fraction.
