PURPOSE:To enable dyeing having high dyeing concentration and good abrasion resistance and washing fastness by treating a fiber product containing cellulosic fibers with a cationic compound, and then subjecting the fiber product to a dipping treatment in a water dispersion containing a pigment and an anionic compound. CONSTITUTION:A fiber product containing a cellulosic fibers is treated with a treating agent containing a cationic compound and then dispersed using an anionic surfactant (preferable example: an alkylsulfuric acid ester salt or alkylbenzenesulfonic acid salt), then subjected to a dipping treatment in a water dispersion adjusted to acidic side containing a pigment to provide a pigment- dyed fiber product having high dye concentration, excellent abrasion resistance, washing fastness and good handle. Particularly, a quaternary ammonium salt polymer or a polymer of the quaternary ammonium salt and a vinyl based monomer is extremely effective as the cationic compound. |
