Laboratory equipment. The fume cupboard includes a curtain (10) formed by at least one row of approximately juxtaposed strips (11): - suspended from the top edge of the front face, - consisting of elementary articulated segments (12), - their length being such that they just reach the lower sill, - and hanging, by means of their mass or by means of weights, and in whatever way the flow is moving, always more or less vertically.
