PURPOSE:To measure radiation in high sensitivity and enable operation by remote control or automatic measurement. CONSTITUTION:A shielding box 2 formed of a radiation shielding material and having an opening part 2a, an element train 3 as a radiation detection means, for instance, aligning 100 radiation detection elements of the same size in total of the radiation detection elements 1 to 100 of CCD photon detection elements and the like attached to an in side wall surface corresponding to the opening part 2a in the shielding box 2 without any gap, and a radiation shielding body 5 capable of moving in one direction in the neighborhood of the opening part 2a of the shielding box 2 and drilling a plurality of small opening parts 4 of fixed size are posessed and the radiation source distribution measurement device is formed.
