Specific chicken egg antibody and method for its production.

The present invention is directed to a specific egg yolk antibody, which substantially has antibody activity against a particular antigen, produced by a process comprising of supercritical gas extraction from an egg yolk of hens immunized with the particular antigen, and to a process of producing such a specific egg yolk antibody. The present invention makes it possible to easily and cheaply produce a specific egg yolk antibody which substantially has antibody activity and sufficiently reduced levels of the color, odor and flavor of egg yolk. Also, the specific egg yolk antibody of the present invention is good in oxidation stability during storage and excellent in fluidity for the food processing.
