<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the action of earth pressure and live load on a pipe and keep the safety of the buried pipe, by positioning the middle of roofing structure above a buried pipe at the upper part than both lower edges and laying down it in the reclaimed earth. CONSTITUTION:A pipe 3 is laid down on the foundation bed 2 of an excavated ditch 1. The part 41 from the foundation bed 2 to the pipe top is reclaimed with a good quality soil, while compacting the soil with a tamper or the like to fill up the part 42 from the pipe top to the specified level with a good quality soil. Next, after the ditch 1 is filled back until midway, leg members 51, 51 are striken at both sides of the pipe 3 to position the lower edges 510, 510 of the leg members 51, 51 in the lower part than the middle of the pipe level and a lateral member 52 is laid down between these leg members 51, 51 to assemble an arch type roofing structure 5. The part 43 to the ground level is reclaimed with the void soil to finish the installation of the pipe 3. In this way, the buried pipe 3 is prevented from abnormal deformation and breakage.</p> |
