The present invention concerns an arrangement for erecting walls of the type made from prefabricated shaped elements in the form of blocks 2 which comprise at least two separate boundary walls and which can be stacked on each other to form a wall formwork 1 suitable for subsequent casting of concrete or the like and with a continuous casting area 6. The arrangement includes a bracket-shaped part 7 comprising a head portion 10, which is designed to be located over the crown of the wall formwork, and two clamp portions 11, 11' which project at an angle from the head portion and are intended to protrude down from the head portion when the latter is applied to the wall crown in order to hold a rule 16, 16' or other elongate element pressed against each side of the upper part of the wall formwork while positioning and holding the latter during casting.
