The invention concerns an arrangement for fireplaces, open ranges and other similar installations for heating by means of combustion, preferably of solid fuels. According to the invention, the fireplace is fitted in a double-wall insert, the water being circulated in the gap between the insert walls. The combustion gases are controlled such that they pass both the inside and the outside of the insert, as a result of which the heat- exchange surface is doubled. At the bottom and top of the insert there are adjustable openings for controlling the combustion gases. <IMAGE> |
