PURPOSE:To correct the master character information on a host machine of the CTS codes by correcting and registering the character information with a word processor of the JIS codes. CONSTITUTION:A character information correction system consists of a host computer 10 which functions with the CTS codes, a word processor 30 which functions with the JIS codes, and a personal computer 20 which secures the connection between the computer 10 and the word processor. In regard of the characters that are included in the CTS codes and not included in the JIS codes, a single character of the CTS codes is expressed in a specific symbol and JIS character following it. When the JIS code is converted into the CTS code, the characters that are included in the CTS codes and not included in the JIS codes are converted based on a code conversion table. |
