PURPOSE:To quickly execute focusing by starting a range-finding action again toward a next releasing action at some point of time after releasing. CONSTITUTION:When release-ON is executed, when the focusing is attained, by an automatic focusing function, a shutter is not opened in the moment of light but it is actually opened after a release-ON signal is read. There is time difference until exposure is started. In the case that an object moves, anticipating release control processing is executed in order to align the image position of the object with a focusing position. That means, in the case of a following-up mode, following-up that a lens for focusing is moved to a position based on defocus quantity by a range-finding means 1 is executed when the moving direction of the object becomes distant from a camera. When the moving direction of the object is the direction toward the camera, the lens for focusing is moved o an anticipating point by as much as the previous time difference. |
