摘要 |
<p>PURPOSE:To monitor cell traffic even when deviation exists in cell arrangement times by counting a cell number appearing at first after the detection of an idle cell in a multiplex signal to use the count as a maximum wait time in the case of multiplexing thereby reducing the monitor time by the cell number. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with an idle cell detection circuit 22 and a counter 31 counting a cell clock signal inputted to a terminal 10. The counter 31 is reset by a detection output of the detection circuit 22 and latched by an output of a virtual path number VPI identification circuit 12. That is, a cell number m1 from the discovery of an idle cell till the VPI cell is identified at first is latched by the counter 31 and the result is given to a counter control circuit 13. Then an output of the identification circuit 12 to be accumulated in a counter 14 for each kXm cell time is reduced by a time m. and the accumulation in the counter 14 is controlled for each kXm-m1 cell time. Thus, the monitoring is executed under the condition of non-exceeding of kXn cells for kXm-m1 cell time.</p> |
