PURPOSE:To prolong the life time of a scanning motor, and further, to instantaneously form a first image. CONSTITUTION:A temperature detector 13 to detect the temperature of the scanning motor 9 is provided. Then, based on the result of the detection by the temperature detector 13, a main controller 4 becides operating conditions, and except for the time of printing, when operating temperature of the scanning motor 9 is higher than a prescribed value, the scanning motor 9 is stopped or revolved slowly, or if no printing instruction is present within a fixed time after the completion printing, when the temperature of the scanning motor 9 is higher than the prescribed value, the scanning motor 9 is stopped or revolved slowly. |
