PURPOSE:To automatically select such a tray for accommodation of sheets of specified size as suitable for the selected OHP paper joining function and continued page copying function. CONSTITUTION:A user interface 50 is fitted with a sheet selecting means for OHP paper joining, and a tray is sought accommodating A4SEF or A4LEF when the OHP paper joining function is selected, and only those trays obtained as result shall be selectable. With a tray select button 42, therefore, only the tray accommodating A4SEF and the one accommodating A4LEF become selectable. Also the user interface 50 is fitted with an automatic sheet selecting means for continued page copying, and when the continued page copying function is selected, search is made for the tray accommodating sheets of the predetermined size which the two-side/synthesized tray admits upon ignoring, and only the tray obtained as result from searching shall be selectable. Thereby the user can select sheets correctly. |
