PURPOSE:To reliably prevent burglary of a vehicle by providing a locking piece to hold the protruding state of a lock bar, a stopper located to the outer periphery of a cylinder and holding the locking piece in a position separated away from the lock bar, and a tumbler for a stopper to release the stopper and the cylinder from engagement therebetween. CONSTITUTION:A front fork is rotated from a straight running state to a maximum steering angle, and an opening part 53 of a housing 12 is positioned facing a locking hole 55 of a steering head pipe 2. When a key is inserted and a cylinder 20 is rotated to a lock position, a lock bar 52 is protruded from the housing 12 and hooked to a lock hole 54. When the key is pulled out, a tumbler 24 and a tumbler 66 for a stopper are hooked to an engaging recessed part 31 and an engaging recessed part 68, and the cylinder 20 and the front fork are maintained in a locked state. Provided the cylinder 20 is forcibly rotated, a stopper 62 is rotated and a locking piece 64 of the stopper 62 is disengaged from a locking piece 60. The locking piece 60 enters a dent 52a of the lock bar 52 to maintain a protruding state, and rotation of the front fork is rendered impracticable. |
