<p>PURPOSE:To prevent defective picking from occurring in high-speed operation by interposingly installing valves capable of freely regulating the opening degree with a piezoelectric element in air passages of picking nozzles, changing the applied voltage waveform and controlling the jetting flow rate of air from the nozzles. CONSTITUTION:Pressurized air flow passages for picking nozzles such as a booster nozzle, a main nozzle and plural sub-nozzles connecting through pipes to a surge tank for storing high-pressure air and is interposingly and respectively equipped with each valve 20 capable of regulating the opening degree by displacement of a piezoelectric element 42. An output voltage from a voltage waveform generator is applied to the aforementioned piezoelectric element 42 and the voltage waveform thereof is simultaneously changed to bend and displace the piezoelectric element 42. Thereby, a valve element 44 is displaced to control the opening degree of the valve 20 with excellent responsiveness.</p> |
