<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a disazo pigment, composed of a specific diazo component and a mixed coupler component of a specified composition, having transparency and concentration capable of producing offset yellow inks and further affording inks excellent in also fluidity. CONSTITUTION:A disazo pigment is composed of (A) a tetrazotized 3,3- dichlorobenzidin as a diazo component and a mixture composed of (B) 97.9-60mol% acetoaceto-o-toluidide, (C) 2-40mol% acetoaceto-2,5-dimethoxy-4- chloroanilide and (D) 0.1-10mol% acetoacetanilide-based compound expressed by the formula (X is COOH, SO3H, etc.; Y is H, OH, etc.) as a mixed coupler component. For example, acetoaceto-o-carboxyanilide is cited as the component (D). The reaction of the component (A) with the mixed coupler composed of the components (B) to (D) is normally preferably carried out at 10-30 deg.C temperature and pH3-6 for 30-60min.</p> |
