A device for raising and lowering a curtain rod in a window comprises three units A,B,C. The first two units each comprise two angular gears 1,2, which are mutually connected by a vertical, threaded rotary shaft 7. The third unit C is constituted by a rotary shaft which is disposed above the window and transfers the rotational motion between the two first-named units A,B. The curtain rod is fastened to slide shoes 14 which are connected to the vertical shafts 7. Upon rotation of the shaft 7, the slide shoes 14 and hence the curtain rod are displaced in the vertical direction. <IMAGE> |
