The drive regulation system allows the vehicle to travel along a path with a defined travel profile and to be halted at a given target point, using regulation of the travel distance and velocity, with calculation of the target braking curve. The latter is supplied to a regulator at the input of the guidance parameter regulation stage, incorporating the travel deistance and travel velocity regulators. When each new local velocity telegram is supplied, the parameter regulation stage is interrupted for calculation of a new target braking wave, using the new target point, with the braking retardation ensuring a min. braking path.
