The platform (10) is mounted on a turntable (22) on the roof of a self-propelled vehicle. It carries a miniature crane with a nearly vertical support (13) and a telescopic arm (14) pivoted by a jack (16). The arm (14) is terminated with a U-section manipulator (18) which can be brought into contact with the trolley wire (26) by rotation (16) and extension (17) of the arm (14) when the pivot axis (15) has been aligned (19) with the wire (26) to be reclamped (27) in its correct position. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simplified lateral displacement of the trolley wire and catenary is possible at relatively low constructional cost.
