<p>The counting and stacking appts. can handle breakable and fragile objects at great speed. To and fro movements of the objects are avoided as far as possible. A row of the objects concerned is delivered to a discharge port. A wheel transports the objects to a conveyor. The wheel has devices to stop the objects, and to move them through the discharge port by means of its outer surfaces. A gripping wheel of smaller dia. than the transporting wheel removes the objects from the delivery installation and also positions them on the transporting wheel. Both gripping and transporting wheels rotate in the same sense and are essentially on the same plane at the discharge port.</p> |
