<p>PURPOSE:To enable the accurate automatic stop and control of a video tape at a preset breakpoint when an image recorded in the video tape is reproduced. CONSTITUTION:The device is connected with a VTR device reproducing a video tape and outputting video and sound, and when a prescribed specific signal recorded on the sound track of the video tape, for example, is detected from reproduced signals from the video tape, a pause signal is generated and the reproducing operation of the VTR device is halted. A different specific signal is set for each VTR device, and in order to store it in a memory circuit, the pause signal from a remote controller attached to the VTR device is converted into an electric signal and supplied to the memory circuit as the specific signal. A mode setting means selectively setting either of the following modes: 'operation mode' halting the reproducing operation of the VTR device and 'learning mode' storing the pause signal prescribed for each VTR device as the specific signal in the memory circuit is provided.</p> |
