<p>A method to induce an anhydrobiotic state in the infective juveniles of entomogenous nematodes is disclosed. Such anhydrobiotic infective juveniles are particularly suited for storage and shipping. This method effects carefully controlled desiccation of the IJs by suspending them in oil, and removing the water gradually using a drying agent, especially by using air at a relative humidity of less than 100 %. A surfactant is optionally present.</p> |
