PURPOSE:To produce an org. composite coated steel sheet having excellent corrosion resistance, weldability, coating adhesion and electrodeposition coating suitability and with the kind of the steel sheet corresponding to the plating amt. and the front and rear capable of being discriminated. CONSTITUTION:A chromate film at a specified deposition amt. as the first layer and a film of the resin composition consisting of the specified formulation of the epoxy resin, curing agent, silica, hardly soluble chromate and org. pigment, preferably a condensed-polycyclic or phthalocyanine-based pigment, as the second layer are formed on the surface of a zinc plated steel sheet respectively in specified thickness to obtain the composite coated steel sheet. In this case, a chromating soln. having a specified composition is applied on the steel sheet, the sheet is dried without being washed, and then the resin composition is applied and heat-treated. |
