PURPOSE:To obtain a weather strip with excellent wear resistance and high sliding ability by incorporating a specified rate of polyurethane resin, plastic agent and silicon oil or fatty acid amide with vinyl chloride group resin containing a specified rate of cross-linked vinyl chloride resin. CONSTITUTION:A weather strip is formed of resin composition that 10-30 pts.wt. polyurethane resin, 40-130 pts.wt. plastic agent and 0.3-20 pts.wt. silicon oil or fatty acid amide are incorporated with 100 pts.wt. vinyl chloride group resin containing at least 3wt% cross-linked vinyl chloride resin. Prior to manufacturing, vinyl chloride group resin, polyurethane resin, plastic agent and silicon oil or fatty acid amide as well as various additives, if necessary, are uniformly mixed and kneaded to form pelletized composition, and then the composition is given extrusion or injection molding into the weather strip. |
