A novel wound dressing is provided herein. It comprises a hydrophobic macroporous cloth having an oligopeptide, e.g. a hydrophobic polypeptide or a polymyxin, preferably polymyxin B hydrophobically and stably bound thereon and therein. Such dressing is ideal for removing LPS endotoxins.
