PURPOSE:To sample an aimed sample solution other than the uppermost layer of a sample consisting of more than two liquids which are not mixed with each other, without causing mixing of liquids of layers upper than the aimed solution and contamination of the sample. CONSTITUTION:The liquid level of an upper layer liquid B is made lower than that of an outlet side buffer liquid 16 and the sample injection end of a capillary 12 is put in an aimed sample solution A through the upper layer liquid B. Under these conditions the liquid level of the sample solution A is made higher than zero level and the sample solution A is injected into the capillary 12 by utilizing the gravitational difference therebetween. Next the liquid level of the upper layer liquid B is made lower than zero level so that the capillary 12 is pulled out of a sample tube 30. The upper layer liquid B attached to the outside of the capillary is washed off by a washing liquid. |
