PURPOSE:To mount a waterproof cover, which secures waterproofness of the opening of a lamp housing relative to an electric bulb, to the lamp housing easily and certainly, and to facilitate manufacture of the warterproof cover. CONSTITUTION:A detaining frame 12 having a framing 13 and a detent piece 14, which protrudes from the framing 13 and a detained with the edge of the opening at a protruding edge 6 of a lamp housing 2, is formed as in a single piece from a hard material such as phenol resin. A cover main part 17 having an enclosure part 18 fixed to the framing 13 of the detaining frame 12 and put in resilient contact with the rear face of the protruding edge 6 of the lamp housing 2, a fit part 19 to be put on the base 10a of an electric bulb 10, and a flexible intermediate part 21 coupling the fit part 19 with the enclosure part 18 is formed as in a single piece from a soft resilient material. The detaining frame 12 is put in a mould for cover main part 17 for insert molding to form the cover main part 17, wherein the two are consolidated. |
