PURPOSE: To provide material showing osteogenic activity. CONSTITUTION: A surface adhesive osteogenic composition is obtained by removing mineral matter from osseous tissue, subjecting the bone matrix from which mineral matter is removed to acid-promoted cleavage, and heating the cleavage product. This composition is coated with natural or synthetic implant matter or is mixed therewith to produce excellent effects.
