<p>PURPOSE:To prevent multiple sheet feed completely by providing a clutch which drives one roller in a sheet delivery direction and a torque limiter which drives the other roller in a direction where the sheet is accommodated to simplify a roller reciprocal rotational driving mechanism for printing the back side. CONSTITUTION:A clutch 73 and a torque limiter 75 are provided in a driving device which drives pairs of sheet delivery rollers 63a, 63b, and 64a, 64b. While the clutch 73 is being disconnected, the pairs of sheet delivery rollers are driven through the torque limiter in an arrowed direction on a continuous line for delivering the sheet 33 into an intermediate tray 62. In order to pick up a sheet 33 out of the intermediate tray 62 and deliver it for printing the back surface of the sheet 33, the clutch 73 is connected to drive the sheet delivery rollers in an arrowed direction on a dot line through the clutch 73, and one roller 64a, 64b is driven by the other roller 63a, 63b, for so that it slides on the torque limiter 5 for opposite rotation.</p> |
