PURPOSE:To prevent not only abnormal heat generation of a surge absorbing element but also thermal damage, fire, etc., of an electronic part and in the case of infiltrating the continuous overvoltage or overcurrent further to automatically restore the element and part after continuous overvoltage or overcurrent is stopped. CONSTITUTION:A surge absorbing element 14 is connected in parallel to an electronic part 10 in a pair of input lines 11, 12 of the electronic part 10, and a thermally responsive switch 21, opened by heating and closed by cooling, is interposed and connected to the one line 11 of the input lines in an input side of this surge absorbing element 14. |
