PURPOSE:To produce an iron alloy plate having specific lattice and grain size and small magnetic anisotropy by cooling quickly the iron alloy plate which contains a specific amt. of Be, Al, etc. and in which said elements have the relation shown by the specific formulas. CONSTITUTION:An iron alloy plate contg. at least one kind selected from, by weight %, <=1.5% Be, <=5.0% Al, <=7.5% Si, <=2.0% P, <=3.0% Ti, <=3.0% V, <=6.0% Ge, <=7.0% As, <=6.0% As, <=6.0% Mo, <=7.0% Sn, <=6.0% Sb, and <=8.0% W in such a way that the X expressed by the formula I (within parenthesis is weight %) satisfies the formula II and consisting of the balance substantially Fe is quickly cooled within a 400 deg.C range from the m. p. thereof or under.
