PURPOSE:To obtain a high-quality color image with no density irregularity by driving multiple photoreceptors smoothly and precisely via a servo motor with planetary roller reduction gears and idler rollers. CONSTITUTION:The first photoreceptor 1a is directly driven by a servo motor 4 with planetary roller reduction gears via a coupling 3. The first idler roller 2a is arranged on the bite side between the second photoreceptor 1b and the first photoreceptor 1a. Four photoreceptors 1a-1d can be concurrently driven by one motor 4 and three idler rollers 2a-2c. |
