PURPOSE:To prevent the title printer from being used in an unsuitable installment state which is likely to receive too much bending force or torsional force. CONSTITUTION:Strain of a printer case 1 is detected with a strain gauge 25. The title printer is so constructed as to be capable of judging whether the printer is in a suitable installment state or not based on a signal to be inputted to a control circuit 18 from the strain gauge 25. Then, when it is in an unsuitable installment state which is likely to receive excess bending force or torsinal force, a printing mechanism 5 is so controlled not to carry out printing operation. |
