The wall-plug has a metal expanding sleeve (30) with a slotted end section (32) in which an expanding member (48) engages through interacting vibration damping material e.g. natural or synthetic rubber. The expanding member (48) has a body (50) of vibration-damping material in which are embedded a tapered sleeve (52) and, at a distance therefrom in an axial direction, a connecting section (54). The tapered sleeve (52) cooperates with the slotted end section (32). The connecting section (54) serves to fix a fixing screw and to pull the expanding member (48) into the slotted end section (32) of the expanding sleeve (30). In the end section (40) opposite to the slotted end section (32) there is an inner lining (42) made of vibration- damping material. The inner lining (42) is in the form of an insert and has a part (46) which projects beyond the expanding sleeve (30). <IMAGE> |
