PURPOSE:To evade a troublesome manual-operation and also to prevent a shutter operation from being forgotten by opening/closing the shutter in a toner replenishment opening while interlocking with loading/unloading of a toner replenishment container. CONSTITUTION:To load the toner replenishment container 32 to a process unit 31, it is pushed so that a stopper 36 is engaged with the edge of the toner replenishment opening 39 of the developing unit main body 38. Consequently the shutter 35 moves gradually upwards along a guiding groove 40 against the pressing force of a coil spring 41 and the toner replenishing opening 33 is opened. When the toner replenishing container 32 is completely attached, the toner replenishing opening 33 and the toner replenishing opening 39 of the developing unit main body 38 are joined together; thus, toner in the toner replenishing container 32 is replenished to the developing device main body 38. |
