A SIMPLE INTERFACE CIRCUIT FOR STARTYPE MULTIPROCESSOR SYSTEM

The circuit is for simplifying interface unit between main CPU and slave CPUs of star type multiprocessor system. The circuit includes a first decoder (51) for decoding address signals transmitted from a main CPU to generate slave processor selection signals (S1- Sn), a first and a second OR gate (G1,G3) for operating read and write signal transmitted from the main CPU to generate write strobe signal (WST) and read strobe signal (RST), a second decoder (53) for decoding read status read signal and write status read signal and for sending to the main CPU and a first slave processor control unit (A) for controlling buffers to receive signal from a selected slave processor.
