<p>PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of the system which operates by using the clock by supplying the clock which does not stop even if a fault occurs. CONSTITUTION:A clock A monitor circuit 2 detects the stop of the clock A, a timing polarity matching circuit 3 sends out a switching signal at the moment a clock B has the same polarity with the clock A, and a selector 4 switches the clock A to the clock B with said signal. Consequently, the clock which does not stop even if a clock oscillation circuit becomes faulty can be supplied and the reliability of the system which operates by using the clock can be improved.</p> |
