PURPOSE:To prevent a of racing rotation without causing an engine stop when a transmission is in a transfer from a gear-in condition to a neutral condition. CONSTITUTION:A transmission is detected placed in a transfer from its gear-in condition to neutral condition, by a neutral detecting means, to calculate a deviation between the actual air amount and an idle target air amount at the time of detecting this neutral condition, and racing of rotation at the time of the above-mentioned speed change is prevented by delaying the ignition timing so that the actual air amount is converged in the idle target air amount based on a result of calculating this deviation. |
