PURPOSE:To produce an expanded graphite sheet having an extremely high mechanical strength and used for gaskets. CONSTITUTION:Expanded graphite expanded into an average volume of >=50 times is compressed to give a specific high density, followed by crushing. The crushed product is mixed with fibrillated aramide pulp fibers, etc., to prepare an aqueous slurry for the production of paper, and the slurry is processed into wet paper. |
