Ejector coupling for the releasable connection between an injection die casting machine and its work tool in which an adjustable cylinder (12) inside the main body (7) can be moved to cause the snap fitting ball joint (9) to lock into a mandrel moving into the conical guide (11) or to release the mandrel by taking up the ball (9) inside grooves in its own surface. The connection piece (18) is connected to the receiver socket (3) via the axial force of the mandrel with radial play between the piece (18) and adapter plate (2). ADVANTAGE - Faulty alignment between the mandrel and main body can be compensated for by the radial play between piece (18) and main body without harming the reliability of the connection joint.
